We built this website to appeal to those eager to visit the Darbar but cannot do so because of limited financial options or a busy lifestyle. We understand that work and other commitments might make it impossible for you to visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah India. The main objective of this site is to provide people with a way to send their prayers, wishes, and offerings to the Dargah.
How Can We Help You Through Dua, Spiritual Offerings, Nazar-o-Niyaz, Langar, Deg, Chadar, and Donations?
As humble servants (Khadims) of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty (RA), we take it upon ourselves to deliver your greetings, prayers, duas, and other offerings. If you have any questions or wishes that you want fulfilled or want to make an offering, you can always contact us, and we will help you to the best of our abilities. Rest assured, your spiritual needs and desires will always be treated with utmost importance.
Shahi Chadar – A Special Offering
The Shahi Chadar is an offering made at the Dargah that consists of a Chadar (a rectangular sheet of fabric) that weighs about 5kg, 10 kg, 20 kg and has a radius of over 42 m. The shahi chadar is a significant symbol of devotion in its provision. Like many offerings, the cost of the chadar ranges between INR 5000 and INR 21000, depending on what other items are included. It is believed that this chadar chadar blesses the devotee who presents this offering as it is placed on the Mazar's tomb. The chadar contains sandalwood paste, a traditional offering item used during Mazar Mubarak.
The Badi Deg is a large cauldron to prepare food for every occasion. The Badi Deg was designed as an offering by Emperor Akbar in 1572. Its primary use was the distribution of food to both the underprivileged and the privileged. This makes it famous and widely known around the world. The Badi Deg, which has a cost of offering set at INR 150,000, can prepare 5000 kg of food in a single dip. The soup is primarily constructed with bettered rice, sugar, saffron, and dry fruit, among other things.
The costs of the Badi Deg offering can be covered entirely, but if that is not feasible, restrictions do not apply. Large or small amounts may be offered to support this valuable cause.
Like the Badi Deg, the Choti Deg is used to cook food for people who come to the dargah. Akbar started allowing 10,000 people to visit 448 years ago, which is how we honor him. The Choti Deg serves up to 10000 people and is charged at the same INR 75000. The only difference is that it uses a lower range of ingredients.
No matter how big or small your budget, the Choti Deg is a place where everyone can contribute. Rest assured, your donation will significantly help the cause and its beneficiaries.
We gladly accept any offering from Qurbani, Nazar-O-Niaz, or Fathia. Furthermore, for those who do not wish to partake in these offerings directly, we have special events like Gyarvi Sharif and Chatti Sharif. You may also have Dua-E-Khatam-E-Khwajgan, Dua-E-Shifa, and Dua-E-Karima prayed over by the Imam in Darbar Sharif's mosque. And, of course, we can assist with food offerings to be received from the Choti and Badi Degs.
Are you aiming to donate but find yourself limited in the amount? Know that every little bit is always welcomed with open arms!
Assisting the Needy and Pilgrims
At Ajmer Sharif Dargah, everyone deserves help, especially the less fortunate. Hence, we assist in the form of langar community feeding, educational aid, and even transportation for pilgrims. We also ensure that the pilgrims coming to Ajmer get the right lodging, food, clothes, and transport.
Furthermore, we are dedicated to aiding the less fortunate in various other ways. This includes supplying clean drinking water to the needy, food, clothing, educational materials, uniforms, and even textbooks. Additionally, we even support borewell projects for villages that have water shortages.
Supporting the Hajj and Umrah Journey
People who do not have the financial means also wish to go on the life-changing Hajj and Umrah journey. We aim to help as many pilgrims as possible by funding accommodation and travel expenses. Therefore, all contributions are welcomed.
