The dargah encompasses more than just the tomb of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, and it is essential to note that the shrine also consists of several other sacred periods, each of which is distinct.

The dargah houses several sacred sites, which include one of the most prominent locations within the dargah, the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti R.A.  daughter, which is close by. The followers often visit her grave in order to pay respect and thank her for what her father has taught us. The family of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti is present within the shrine, which enhances the spiritual aspects and leads to a feeling of connection with the saint.

The shrine also has the tomb of Khuwaja Moinudeen Chishti son, who was part of the saint's generations, serving as a reminder of the love and devotion that his family possessed. These sites include the grave of Khwaja Syed Fakhruddin Gardezi Chishti, one of the respected disciples who came to the shrine with Hazrat Khawaja Gharib Nawaz more then 800 years ago.

Apart from this, there are two important graves of Khuwaja Gareeb Nawaz’s wives, which further add to the site's religious significance. The graves serve as a reminder of the friendships that formed the basis of the life and teachings of the saint.

The Two Degs: A Royal Gift

A visit to Khwaja Garib Nawaz Dargah is incomplete without viewing the two huge degs (large cauldrons) gifted to the dargah by two of the greatest emperors of India, Akbar and Jahangir. These two degs, which were intended to feed a large number of pasteurizers in the Markaz have become the most visible part of the dargah.ir example as part of the history of the court. These degs mark the significant royal support the shrine received at that time and are associated with the spirit of giving and charity that Khwaja Garib Nawaz is said to have practiced.

The Shahjhani Mosque and Akbari Mosque

This elegant combination is further accentuated by the presence of two beautifully designed mosques built within the dargaah. Shah Jahan built this mosque during the Mughal dynasty. It is a great architectural structure whose walls are embellished with details and is characterized by calm and quietness. Also, the Akbari mosque, whose name is in honor of Emperor Akbar, is a stunning work of architecture that testifies to the future greatness of Mughal architecture. These mosques also served great significance to the prayer, but even more to the close association Khuwaja Gharib Nawaaz had with the Mughal Emperors.

Awliya Masjid: A Place for Peace and Reflection

The Awliya Masjid is also part of the building complex of the dargaah and is dedicated to the disciples and followers of the saint. It serves as a place of contemplation during which the followers can pray and ask for assistance. The tranquil nature of this mosque makes it suitable for people who want to sit quietly and meditate for peace of mind.

A Rich Legacy and Spiritual Hub

The Khawaja Gharib Nawaaz Dargaha is not only a historical site but also a center for spiritual practice. This Islamic center draws healthy numbers of people from across the globe who come to pray, seek blessings there as well, and inquire from this shrine. Khuwaja Gareeb Nawaaz lasting impact on the billions of people around the globe is immeasurable. The philosophy that he preaches binds all together through messages of peace, love, and serving the people rather than only restraining to the mere shrines, which makes it a relevant part to integrate any religion through the means of compassion.

Adab and Darshan at the Dargah

During a visit to the dargah, visitors are expected to exercise utmost respect and adab (etiquette) towards the locals. Seeking blessings at such a historic place that is extremely sacred feels like a pious experience that is pursued with an attitude of reverence and humility to its core. It is important to note that this is not only a recreation point. It is a place constantly visited by the agnostics in order to pay their respects to a saint who possessed the greatest amount of love for mankind.

Before the devotees enter, they are often seen tying a piece of cloth or leaving flowers as a sign of respect. The act of darshan (tomb viewing) is particularly hectic and engaging. Quite ensuring one has to approach the tomb in a five-star manner because as you are told to remember about the tomb of Khwajaa Gareeb Nawaz; you cannot miss the sense of Ruhaniyat that surrounds him, especially his relation to humanity and God.

The key accuracy to begin with is that Ajmer is a historical city that treasures a fusion of love of religions, which is able to be felt in a Khawaja Gharib Nawaaz Dargaha alongside tombs and facts of the royal families such as Akbar and Jahangir. The Dargaah has a lot in store for those who are willing to visit it who are either historians, peace seekers, or spiritually inclined. The core principles that the dargah promotes are service, love, and humility, which has for centuries inspired many to follow it.
